I specialise in relaxed, natural photography for families, couples and the people you love. While I don’t offer wedding photography, I’d love to capture the special moments that happen before, after and beyond the wedding day.
Your session is all about the two of you. We’ll spend time together, have fun, explore your chosen location and capture the little moments that make your relationship special. I’ll offer gentle prompts and direction, while leaving plenty of space for natural moments to happen.
Not at all! You don’t need any modelling experience or to know what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide you with simple prompts and natural movements so your photographs feel relaxed and authentic.
Absolutely. Most couples feel a little nervous at first. You’ll quickly forget about the camera once you start talking, laughing and enjoying being together. My aim is to make the session feel more like a date than a photoshoot.
Choose outfits that feel like you and that you’re comfortable wearing. Coordinating colours rather than matching exactly usually works beautifully. Neutral, earthy and timeless tones photograph particularly well, but your personalities should always come first.
Sessions can take place somewhere meaningful to you, such as a favourite beach, woodland, city, countryside location or even at home. We can choose a location that reflects your relationship and gives you space to relax and connect.
Definitely. In fact, activities can be a wonderful way to make your photographs feel natural. Whether it’s walking, grabbing a coffee, having a picnic, exploring somewhere new or simply enjoying your favourite place together, we can build your session around what you love.
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and make a decision together. If the weather is unsuitable, we can reschedule where possible. But don’t rule out cloudy skies, wind or a little rain — these conditions can create some beautiful and atmospheric photographs.
Yes! If you’re enjoying yourselves and would like some extra time, we can extend your session where availability allows. Just let me know on the day and I’ll talk you through the options and any additional cost.
Absolutely. I love a mixture of both. We’ll create a few beautifully guided portraits alongside natural moments, laughter, movement and all the little interactions that happen between you.
Definitely. If you have something personal that represents your relationship, feel free to bring it along. It could be a favourite book, flowers, a picnic, a vintage car or anything else that tells part of your story.
Yes! If you’re planning a proposal, engagement session or simply want to celebrate your relationship, I’d love to help capture it. Get in touch so we can chat about your plans and create something personal to you.
Absolutely. I always love hearing the story behind a location. Whether it’s where you had your first date, a favourite walking spot or somewhere you simply love spending time together, meaningful locations can make your photographs even more special.
